We build the boring part of European commerce
Tax rules, invoice formats and wholesale pricing are where online sellers lose weeks. Webito absorbs that work so the shop is the interesting part again.
Why we built this
Selling across Europe means answering questions no store builder wants to own: which rate applies to this order, whether this buyer's VAT number is real, when the €10,000 threshold moves place of supply, what format the invoice has to be in for the buyer's country. Most platforms push those answers onto plugins, spreadsheets or an accountant at month end. We decided the platform should hold them, in the order pipeline, where the data already is.
How we work
01
Correct beats clever
Tax and invoicing are domains where a plausible-looking wrong answer is worse than no feature. We ship the determined, auditable version.
02
Core, not add-on
If a European seller needs it to trade legally, it belongs in the product: not in a paid extension you discover after launch.
03
No lock-in theatre
Your catalogue, customers, orders and invoices stay exportable through the API. Staying should be a preference, not a trap.
04
Support that knows the domain
Questions about reverse charge or Peppol routing reach people who understand them, not a script that reroutes you to documentation.

How we got here
2023
Platform foundations
Built the headless core: catalogue, orders, multi-storefront tenancy and the design-token theming system.
2024
Armenia Startup certification
First step of international expansion, with an official technology startup certification in Armenia.
2025
EU incorporation
Registered Webito in Prague as an EU commerce company.
2026
European B2B and tax focus
Refocused the product on European sellers: destination VAT determination, OSS threshold tracking, VIES validation, Peppol e-invoicing and the B2B wholesale module.
How the platform is put together
Fully managed
No hosting to buy, no VPS to configure, no database migrations to babysit. Deployment, certificates, backups and upgrades are ours to run.
Headless by architecture
The admin backend and the storefront are separate services talking over an API. Use the included themes, or render your own front end and keep the commerce logic.
European by default
Data handling, invoice formats, VAT logic and consent flows are built around EU requirements first, rather than retrofitted onto a US-shaped platform.
