Data Controller
Webito Future Tech s.r.o., Registration Number: 232 40 911, registered at Plzeňská 3352/156, Smíchov, 150 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic, is the data controller for all personal data processed through the Webito platform.
What We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email address, phone number), information generated through your use of the platform (store settings, product data, order records, billing history, team member details, connected custom domains), and technical data automatically collected when you access our services (IP address, browser type, device identifiers, access timestamps, and cookies as described in our Cookie Policy).
How We Use Your Data
We process your data to provide and operate the Webito SaaS platform, including store provisioning, payment processing, order management, plugin and theme delivery, and customer support. We also use data to improve platform performance, send important service notifications (billing, security, product updates), prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with applicable laws. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
Data Sharing
We share data only with sub-processors necessary to deliver our service, such as cloud infrastructure providers, payment processors, SMS and email delivery services, and analytics tools. All sub-processors are contractually bound to handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy law. If you install a third-party plugin from the Webito marketplace, that plugin's vendor may process data according to their own privacy policy; you are notified of this at the point of installation.
Data Retention
We retain account and store data for the duration of your subscription and for up to 90 days after account deletion to allow recovery. Order records and financial data are retained for 7 years as required by Czech and EU law. Logs and technical data are retained for up to 12 months. You may request earlier deletion where we have no legal obligation to retain data.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ) or the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
